Dropped in to visit Helen & Pete

Late Sunday morning I went out to Rose Bay to see Helen and Pete. They've taken an old house (nearly from the skeleton) and have done the seemingly impossible, turning it into a real beauty. You can tell from the living room walls alone that they were looking for color and it's an artist's palette! I got the whole home tour (including the master bedroom that faces out onto the water with a view through a huge view window). Helen in years past has been my auction buddy, so she was leaving again to check out sales in the area, but not before we sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee and some English biscuits. (They remember John and Ashley from a brief meeting last year down by the Bluenose.)
