I'm Taking a Poll
This handsome man proposed last night that he should shave his moustache! Would any of us know him without it after all these years? Isn't it a part of his personality? Doesn't it add a touch of distinction? He just laughs at me, but I think I might fall into depression if he did that! To shave it off, realize his mistake and have to grow it back would be like a divorce and a remarriage. The thread of continuity would be gone. Let's get some comments here in support of keeping the moustache! Let's keep this handsome man handsome and distinguished!

Ashley writes from Brazil....Heck, he shaves it, and it could be like you have an innocent affair with the new person. He can then grow it back, and he will be the same he has always been. I have chopped my hair off several times...always thinking it would be a good idea. I always hate it after about 2 days, and then it takes about 3 years to grow back. Dad could grow a mustach back, in what...a month? Life is short... ideas come and go. Sometimes it is fun to act upon them. It might look good, it might look bad, it might not even look like dad at all...the point is though, it will grow back, and it will grow back pretty fast. It may feel freeing to him. I say shave it off and then grow it back. He shouldn~t have that restriction of never being aloud to shave it. No depression because of it though...ok mom =-)

I wouldn't recognize my dad without it!!! Ashley's comment does make sense though...and Tina said "Absolutely! I agree with Ashley." Sometimes we get the impulse or desire to do something and people might suggest not doing it, but if we want to, we'll end up doing it anyway. I'm torn here. Dad, I think you look extremely handsome with your mustache...but I do not want to squash any act of self-expression. Perhaps you could do it when mom is away from you in canada for a while...

Billy & Dave weighed in with the following...we'd like to register our votes (if it isn't too late already!) for Kenneth to keep the brush. He's so feline looking it would be hard to imagine him without this addition. We are sure if he decides to take the plunge and shave it off it will soon be missed for it compliments him and it's hard to imagine it not there. Hope your opinion prevailed .........
