Along the Yukon and White Pass Rail

In the course of 20 miles, the sights were beautiful along the train route, glaciers, rivers and lakes. The original walking trail to the Yukon was marked with a small trail sign. It's impossible to imagine how people and pack mules or horses made it along the way! Also pictured below is the old train trestle, no longer used, for obvious reason! At the end of the route we'd actually crossed over into Canada, so we weren't allowed off the train. The engine was switched from the back to the front for the return trip. Inside the train, the backs of the seats reversed, and everyone switched sides so all had the opportunity to see the greatest views.
