We Take a Tour of Sitka & a National Park

.
Upon arriving in Sitka we all decided to take a tour of the town and a forest. Our first stop was down by the water, across from the local college. A lady was walking her dog named Flicka, and we all enjoyed watching her run in the water. When a seaplane took off, the seagulls all lifted, and I caught them in flight. Our tourguide is below in the red & black jacket. She told us bother her Tlingit name and her American name, but I can't recall. In the forest she told us about the medicinal properties of some of the plants and then we went to a stream just jumping with salmon.

That's Ken with Maryann and Rick, and the totem pole was at the entryway into the forest.
