We had a perfect day to tour Hearst Castle. After visiting so many times, it's always wonderful to return as there are always new perspectives to explore.

We couldn't leave San Simeon without paying a visit to the elephant seals

Half the drive was completely fogged in...it rolled over the hilltops and spilled down into the ocean. Periodically, we'd come around a corner, where the sunshine broke through and phenomenal landscapes laid themselves out in front of us!

As we made our way down the coast, the day turned to dusk. Tina kept "oohing" and "aahing" as i drove, explaining that we were "above the clouds!" I had to pull over and soak up the view for myself. The clouds and fog had completely settled in over the ocean and the view was beyond magnificent.
